Emily is a dedicated music educator and pianist, currently advancing her studies as a Master of Music candidate in Piano Performance at San Francisco State University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Music from the University of Oregon, where she nurtured her passion for both performance and pedagogy studies. Emily has had the privilege of studying under esteemed pedagogues and pianists, including Dr. Claire Wachter, Dr. William Wellborn, and Dr. Dale Tsang, whose guidance has been influential in shaping the development of her teaching approach that is both fun and engaging for students of all levels and ages.

Emily’s teaching philosophy centers on the belief that each student’s musical journey is unique. She is dedicated to tailoring her lessons to meet the individual needs and interests of her students, fostering a learning environment that is both supportive and challenging. Emily believes that music is a gift that can bring immense joy to our lives, and she strives to instill this sense of joy in her students.
